The St. Barnabas Community Garden is growing! We have increased the amount of room we have to plant fruits and vegetables, and we have completed the first of two large trellises that we will use to grow beans, cucumbers, blackberries and other vines.
We are striving to build not only a garden, but a community dedicated to providing fresh produce to those in need. All members of the congregation are invited to participate, from the youngest to the oldest and everyone in between. Our Children's Christian Formation has helped by planting seeds that will be transplanted into the garden. Please come out and help. No gardening experience is necessary.
Workdays are announced through the websit and the church bulletin. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please email Michael Bass at email@example.com.
